Come to Paragon Theaters for a showing of the movie Lone Suvivor to raise money for the James Suh Memorial Scholarship, which benefits senior students at Deerfield Beach High School.  I started this scholarship in 2006 in the amount of $1,ooo per student to remember my high school classmate, James “Sung” Suh.  It is awarded to seniors based on GPA, difficulty of classes, community service, extracurricular activities, and interst in serving in the military. The event will start at 6pm on Wednesday, January 15th with a 50/50 drawing, wine wagon raffle and a silent auction. The theater has a bar and serves food, if you want to arrive early and hang out. The movie will begin at 7pm and tickets are $15. The theater is located on Hillsboro Blvd just west of Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach.
