Full Mouth Reconstruction
Sometimes it is necessary to restore a patient’s whole dentition to give them a pleasing smile and functional occlusion. Whether it needs to be done due to decay, wear, periodontal issues, missing teeth or esthetics, we have a systematic approach of gathering the proper records, creating a digital smile design, then making a mock-up that you approve before we start any treatment.
When we prepare your teeth, the proper amount of reduction is calculated from the mock-up and temporaries are made for you that mimic our design for the final restorations. You are able to “test drive” these temporaries to make sure you like the look and feel of them before we make your final restorations.
Changes
can easily be made to the temporaries and communicated with our local
laboratory for the fabrication of the final restorations, which are usually
made out of all porcelain materials such as Emax or Zirconia. This systematic process gives us predictable
results and allows you to stage the treatment over time if needed.
