Endodontic - Root Canal Treatment
When the
nerve of a tooth is injured or dies, the tooth may need a root canal in order
to eliminate pain or infection and save it.
Some symptoms indicating that you may need a root canal are prolonged
sensitivity to cold, sensitivity to heat, a dull throbbing/aching pain that may
be worse at night, pain on biting on chewing, an abscess or swelling. We provide non-surgical endodontic treatment
for patients but for complex cases, apicoectomies or re-treatments, we will
refer you to one of the endodontists that we work with.
Dr. Rask and Dr. Treyz perform routine, non-surgical root canals and also some retreatments. Complex cases may be referred to an endodontist.
