Below is information and a link to a raffle currently being offered from Moroco Orthodontics, a very well-respected practice here in Boca Raton. They are raising money for the Junior League of Boca Raton by raffling off one comprehensive orthodontic treatment that includes pre-treatment work-up, full set of braces, and follow-up retainers valued at $6,000. There will only be 100 tickets sold in order to give everyone a fair chance at winning! If anyone you know is interested in braces or braces for their child, this is a great opportunity. Also, if you know of anyone affiliated with any local schools, please forward this to them. Thank you in advance! Brian Rask, DMD

Our Halloween Candy Buyback will only run through Thursday, so don’t delay. I will also be giving out toys and hygiene goodies to kids that donate!

A couple months ago, I was selected as the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Person of the Year for the Broward County Council of Chambers Luncheon. Receipients were chosen based on their community involvement, service and business leadership. I was joined by my family, office staff, fellow Exchange Club members and Pompano Beach Chamber members and leaders at the Reneisance Hotel to receive this award. I would like to say thanks to everyone who has supported me over the years to help me get where I am today! I truley enjoy being active in the community and giving back to the area where I grew up. I am also very thankful for my wife who has put up with me and supported all of my endeavors.
On Sunday, August 11th, the Pompano Beach Exchange Club and the NFL Alumni South Florida Chapter held their 6th Annual Bowling Tournement at Sawgrass Lanes to raise money for the Broward Children’s Center and other local charities. Gail, Jean, Missy and Meegan had a great time dressing up as the “Dental Divas” and meeting former NFL players from the South Florida area. The Pompano Beach Exchange Club cooked for all the participants and helped organize the tournement with the NFL Alumni. The event ended up raising about $20,000 for charity!
