This past weekend, I was selected by the College of Dentistry as one of the University of Florida Outstanding Young Alumni for 2013. The University of Florida Alumni Association , Inc. has established the Outstanding Young Alumni Award to recognize alumni who are 35 years of age or younger and have distinguished themselves in their profession and community.   It was a great weekend in Gainesville catching up with old friends, making new ones and seeing all the changes in the town.  We attended the awards breakfast at Emerson Hall, then watched the Gators Orange and Blue spring football game from the President’s Suite in the Swamp!  I really enjoy giving back to the community and my profession and I am very thankful for the excellent education I received from UF which allows me to do this…Go Gators!
